The body of work that I’ve created over the past three years explores themes of nostalgia and technology. In my previous career as a technology professional, I was very mindful of the ways in which our everyday experiences are shaped by the design of the devices we interact with.

Ava Ceramics was started in 2018 in Brooklyn, NY. Created for a love of ceramics and fostered at a young age. All of Ava’s wares are handcrafted and individually finished creating one of a kind pieces with a vintage influence that fit seamlessly into homes, restaurants, and almost anywhere.

My name is Lola Burgos, and I'm passionate about painting. My work focuses on the joy of living, on expressing my feelings through plastic form, and on creating visual concepts that generate aesthetic curiosity.

Martina Sestakova is a native of the Czech Republic and the owner at RADOST (est. 2016). The name of her company means ‘joy’ in Czech. Martina holds a BFA in Communication from the University of Maryland (College Park, MD) and an MFA in Fashion Design from the Academy of Arts University (San Francisco, CA).

Alessia Gatti is an Italian filmmaker and artist born in Fano, a small seaside town located on the eastern coast of Italy. She's the creator of Little Treasures NYC, a unique line of home decor accessories that includes ceramics, coasters, soy wax candles and other objects.

Delighted and amused by Cynthia’s drawings which appeared in books and various news publications, I wished there were more ways we could share them with the world. My background in fashion and retail brought me to the possibility of illustrated dry goods.

Amanda Kleinman tells stories of plants and pollinators, in both formal and wild spaces, with film and digital photography. She has been a dedicated member of the art, music, and naturalist community of Washington, DC since 1993.

Gioia Chilton is a artist and art therapist in the Alexandria, Virginia area. Mixing paint and printmaking techniques, Gioia’s colorful art is inspired by her work as an art therapist addressing the urgent mental health needs of adults, adolescents, and children.

 

Photography allows me the opportunity to combine my love of nature and my desire to express myself artistically. Most often I find myself drawn to the simple elements of beauty in nature, trying to create images that evoke a connection to nature and how nature mirrors the emotions of our lives.

It’s been said the best camera to have is the one in your hand, and Susan is a true believer, thankful for the convenience and high-tech quality phone cameras now offer. Her love of photography started when she received her first 35mm camera in high school.

Minh Singer is a ceramics artist based in Brooklyn. She makes work to inspire wonder and optimism. Luminously glazed and sensitively hand-formed, each unique piece displays detailed artistry connected to the natural world.

Heidi Nielson is a mixed media artist creating a body of work that is a meditation on the things we carry from generation to generation. A fourth-generation Japanese American, bi-racial, queer, ex-Mormon American artist, she has lots of history that she is still unpacking and exploring.
